HELP

MAKING YOUR LIFE A LITTLE EASIER

We’ve got more to our Credit Union than you may think! From Shared Branching to notary services, find out what more we can do for you.

Shared branching

You’ve got friends all across the nation thanks to our partnership with the CO-OP shared branching network.

DETAILS

  • Use member credit unions nationwide as if you were at your home branch
  • Over 5,000 compatible branches through the CO-OP network
  • Over 2,000 self-service locations (open 24/7)
Locations available in all 50 states
  • Easily find a branch online
  • Conduct a number of transactions at any member branch, including:
    • Deposits
    • Withdrawals
    • Loan payments
    • Make transfers between accounts
    • Purchase money orders and official checks*
    • And more!

*May not be available at all outlets and locations.

HOW IT WORKS

In order to complete a transaction at a shared branching location, you will need:

  • Your account number and
  • Your valid government-issued picture identification

No matter whether you usually do your banking at the Potlatch, Kendrick, or Plummer branches, for Latah Credit Union you would list Moscow as the location of your Credit Union. Transactions available will depend on the policies of the branch you visit.

Deposits may not be available for immediate withdrawal.

Please remember the most cost-effective way to transfer money at Latah Credit Union is by using Audio Response or Internet Banking.

SURCHARGE-FREE ATMs

Whether you like to stay rooted in Idaho or move around, always have access to your cash — surcharge-free.

  • Easily find an ATM virtually anywhere in the US
  • Make surcharge-free withdrawals at over 30,000 locations nationwide
  • Make surcharge-free deposits at over 9,000 ATM locations nationwide

Members may mail deposits to the Credit Union (the endorsement on checks should be ‘For deposit only into account #xxxxx,’ followed by the payee’s signature(s)). Members may also request, via U.S. mail, virtually any other service to be performed.

Notary service is offered free of charge to all members of Latah Credit Union.

Low-cost money orders are issued in the lobbies of our four offices; they are not provided via mail or through the drive-up windows of the Moscow or Potlatch offices.

Members may learn the “blue book” value of used cars and trucks with the NADA Used Car Guide — available online at NADAguides.com.

The credit union offers the convenience and safety of electronic deposit of government payments. Members employed at the University of Idaho, and certain other local employers, may also choose to have their paychecks automatically deposited into their accounts. The ability to have loan payments directly transferred from members’ paychecks is also offered.

Need an easy gift? We offer Visa Gift Cards. There is only a $2 fee! The minimum load amount is $10 and the maximum is $500.

More convenient than checks and safer than cash, these pre-paid cards can be used at millions of merchants and ATMs that accept Visa cards. The fee for this card is $6, with a load amount of $100-$5,000. These cards can be used over again and reloaded for a small fee!

Members may have funds wired to and from other financial institutions. The fee for domestic wire transfers is $25. The fee for international wire transfers is $45. See wire instructions here.

Members may deposit checks and documents in our secure “night drop” vaults located at all of our locations except the Plummer branch.

Members’ deposits in Latah Credit Union are insured to at least $250,000 by ASI. By members’ choice, this institution is not federally insured, and if the institution fails, the Federal Government does not guarantee that depositors will get back their money.
